Also released is a Status of Women Report Card and committed to doing this every International Women’s Day. You can find the report card here and the associated press release is attached. This is the first report card and as with the Women’s Budget Statement, the Minister is keen to receive feedback on how we can evolve this. The National Strategy will also provide important direction on where we should focus our attention and monitor our progress – we see the Report Card as an accessible reflection on a moment in time for each IWD to reflect on a joined up picture of life for women in Australia and where we need to take action.
