“If you want to touch the past, touch a rock. If you want to touch the present, touch a flower. If you want to touch the future, touch a life.”

Nothing Changes Unless We Do!

Your involvement will raise the collective impact within communities by enabling individuals to be part of the solution.

We believe the power of the people is stronger than the people in power

We underestimate how much power we, as individuals, have to effect change.

Your participation and support will help us develop and increase the awareness and response to reducing domestic violence and alleviating homelessness.

Your efforts, whether volunteering, fundraising, becoming a community advocate or simply donating will have an enormous impact and help keep women safe throughout communities in Australia.

Here Are Ways To Support Your Local Community

Become a Community Advocate

Based on your participation, you can  become a Advocate to:

You will be required to do a tailored training program and meet certain regulatory complience before you commence.

Volunteer

Volunteers are the backbone of charities, associations and communities.  They know there is more reward in giving than receiving.

Volunteers play an integral part in helping us deliver a better service to the people who need it most.

As a Volunteer, you will raise awareness for the organisation, use your skills to create good and help us fundraise, but there are also many personal benefits for you.

Volunteers come from a diverse range of cultures and walks of life.  They have various skills, experiences and knowledge and become a driving force within their community.  They are involved, find purpose, meaningful conversations, make new like-minded friends.

You contribute to a cause that you care about and use your skills in a productive way.

Volunteering also strengthens your ties to the community and broadens your support network, exposing you to people with common interests, neighbourhood resources, and fulfilling activities.

If you are interested, please complete the volunteer form and we will be in touch.

Have fun with fundraising

Supporting our women means we so much to us.

You may not have the time to volunteer, but you love putting on a dinner, luncheon, event, work event or any social gathering.

Third party fundraising is so powerful. It raises the awareness within your own circles that you are altruistic and caring and want to make an impact.  It educates others on how to make a difference.  And we’ll support you along the way.

There are several ways to fundraise

  • Hold a barbecue or dinner and charge a small fee for entry.
  • Have a high tea with your best girlfriends and add a percentage on each ticket.
  • Promote our products and events to others.
  • Put a raffle together, something your friends and colleagues would and sell tickets.
  • If you love craft, make something, and auction it off to friends.

If you wish to fundraise, you will be supported by our wonderful team of creative volunteers who will help you every step of the way.

Remember every dollar goes to support not just one woman but two – from homelessness and domestic abuse.

Your fundraising efforts support the longevity of our Project and the success of keeping women safe.
